Love and Greece

June 2

"For it is only LOVE that the unequal can be made equal." Kierkegaard

"Who being in the very nature of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made Himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death - even death on a cross!"
Philippians 2:6-8

"Those who believe in God can never in a way, be sure of Him again. Once they have seen Him in a stable, they can never be sure where He will appear or to what lengths He will go or to what ludicrous depths of self-humiliation He will descend in His wild pursuit of man....."

Greek Pizza and Begga Lo
Sean Avner

I've been looking for new recipes. Actually, I've been trying to cook anything at home, so finding any recipe that I can make and enjoy is cause for quite excitement. We found a winner with this Mediterranean pizza!

Step 1:
Gather Ingredients. We used a pre-made thin crust.

Step 2:
Brush pizza crust lightly with olive oil. Mince 2 cloves of garlic and sprinkle over crust.

Step 3: Sprinkle with 4 oz of mozzarella

Step 4: Add toppings.
  1. 1/2 can of artichokes, drained & chopped
  2. 1/2 C of fresh basil, thinly sliced
  3. 3 T Capers
  4. 1/4 C feta cheese crumbled
  5. Add optional toppings. Olives, anchovy's. I despise both, so I didn't add either. I did add beets on half the pizza. It added beautiful color and tasted yummy!
  6. Top with remained 4 oz of mozzarella cheese

Step 5: We cooked our pizza according to directions on crust. 425 for 12-15 minutes.

Step 6: You can smell the pizza and see the cheese melted. ENJOY!
